Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo es que los hombres ponen toda su diligencia para tener \u00e9xito en los asuntos de este mundo, no dejan ning\u00fan medio sin intentar para obtener una situaci\u00f3n deseable, para ganar un pleito, o para lograr un matrimonio; no rechazan ning\u00fan consejo; no descuidan ninguna medida para asegurar su objeto; ni comen ni duermen, y sin embargo no hacen nada para ganar la salvaci\u00f3n eterna - nada para ganarla, sino todo para perderla, como si...? <em>Infierno<\/em>, <em>Cielo<\/em>y <em>Eternidad<\/em> no eran art\u00edculos de fe, sino s\u00f3lo f\u00e1bulas y mentiras?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u00a1Oh Dios! Ay\u00fadame con tu luz divina; no permitas que me siga cegando como hasta ahora.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Si ocurre un accidente en una casa, \u00bfqu\u00e9 no se hace inmediatamente para repararla?  Si se pierde una joya, \u00bfqu\u00e9 no se hace para recuperarla?  Se pierde el alma, se pierde la gracia de Dios, \u00a1y los hombres duermen y r\u00eden!  Atendemos con sumo cuidado a nuestro bienestar temporal, y descuidamos casi por completo nuestra salvaci\u00f3n eterna.  Llamamos felices a los que han renunciado a todas las cosas por Dios; \u00bfpor qu\u00e9, pues, estamos tan apegados a las cosas terrenas?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u00a1Oh Jes\u00fas! Has deseado tanto mi salvaci\u00f3n que derramaste tu sangre y diste tu vida para conseguirla, y yo he sido tan indiferente a la conservaci\u00f3n de tu gracia que he renunciado a ella y la he perdido por nada.  Lamento, Se\u00f1or, haberte deshonrado as\u00ed.
