NOVEMBER 2025 CALENDAR

The November calendar has been posted.  We encourage you to notice and appreciate the richness of the meaningful liturgy of the pre-1955 liturgical celebrations, its clarity and encompassing way of presenting –through the hands of the priest– our prayers to the Lord, in unity with all the traditional intentions and orations the Holy Mother Church instructs us to recall in all Masses of the month.  The pre-Bugnini liturgy is, without doubt, the best and most coherent way of defending our traditional Catholic faith in the present time.

This last month of the liturgical year, is dedicated to the relief of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.  The month begins with the continuation of Hallowtide, that began with the Vigil of All Saints, followed by the Solemnity of All Saints and its octave, and All Souls Day, which is transferred to November 3 this year due to its falling on Sunday.   The month ends with the First Sunday of Advent on November 30.  The Feast of the Apostle Andrew, normally celebrated on November 30, is transferred to December 1 this year because it falls on that privileged Sunday.

Most holy Mary is honored in a special way on the 21st, with the Presentation of the Blessed Virgen Mary e Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on 27th.

This year, the liturgy for the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost is commemorated on November 9, the Dedication of the Archbasilica of Our Savior.

Finally, during this month, the Society of the Most Holy Redeemer remembers the Redemptorist Martyrs of Cuenca, Spain (Nov. 6) and the Founding of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Nov. 9).
