Mas como \u00e9 poss\u00edvel que os homens usem toda a dilig\u00eancia para serem bem-sucedidos nos neg\u00f3cios deste mundo, n\u00e3o deixem nenhum meio sem tentar obter uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o desej\u00e1vel, ganhar uma a\u00e7\u00e3o judicial ou realizar um casamento; n\u00e3o rejeitem nenhum conselho; n\u00e3o negligenciem nenhuma medida para garantir seu objetivo; n\u00e3o comam nem durmam, e ainda assim n\u00e3o fa\u00e7am nada para obter a salva\u00e7\u00e3o eterna - nada para ganh\u00e1-la, mas tudo para perd\u00ea-la, como se <em>Inferno<\/em>, <em>C\u00e9u<\/em>e <em>Eternidade<\/em> n\u00e3o eram Artigos de F\u00e9, mas apenas f\u00e1bulas e mentiras?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u00d3 Deus! Ajude-me com sua luz divina; n\u00e3o permita que eu fique mais cego, como tenho estado at\u00e9 agora.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Se ocorrer um acidente em uma casa, o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 feito imediatamente para consert\u00e1-la?  Se uma joia se perde, o que n\u00e3o se faz para recuper\u00e1-la?  A alma est\u00e1 perdida, a gra\u00e7a de Deus est\u00e1 perdida, e os homens dormem e riem!  Cuidamos com muito cuidado de nosso bem-estar temporal e negligenciamos quase totalmente nossa salva\u00e7\u00e3o eterna!  Chamamos de felizes aqueles que renunciaram a todas as coisas por Deus; por que, ent\u00e3o, somos t\u00e3o apegados \u00e0s coisas terrenas?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u00d3 Jesus! O Senhor desejou tanto a minha salva\u00e7\u00e3o a ponto de derramar o Seu Sangue e dar a Sua vida para garanti-la; e eu fui t\u00e3o indiferente \u00e0 preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Sua gra\u00e7a a ponto de renunciar e perd\u00ea-la por um mero nada!  Sinto muito, Senhor, por ter Te desonrado dessa forma.
