WHO WE ARE

The Society of the Most Holy Redeemer exists to preserve and guard the Traditional Redemptorist spirituality as it was before the Second Vatican Council, providing a spiritual sanctuary in the spirit of St. Alphonsus de Liguori, where faithful Catholics can worship, grow in knowledge of      The Faith, and help the most abandoned ones.
We are not spiritually affiliated with, nor has our work been recognized by the current structure that occupies, in δόξα, the official places of authority in the Catholic Church or in the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, as they currently exist. Although we recognize the power they have to enforce their new laws, it is an undeniable truth that -as St. Paul says- “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rm. VIII, XXXIX), and also, no one can deny us our right to persevere in our Catholic Faith and in the Mystical Body of Christ.
“Non habemus partem cum eos qui se ab Mystici Corporis Christi diviserunt”
“We are what you once were…
We believe what you once believed…
We worship as you once worshipped…
If you were right then, then we are right now…
If we are wrong now…
You were wrong then…”
Truth does not change!
