DECEMBER CALENDAR

The December calendar has been posted. We encourage you to notice and appreciate the richness of the meaningful liturgy of the pre-1955 liturgical celebrations, its clarity and encompassing way of presenting –through the hands of the priest- our prayers to the Lord, in unity with all the traditional intentions and orations the Holy Mother Church instructs us to recall in all Masses of the month. The pre-Bugnini liturgy is, without doubt, the best and most coherent way of defending our traditional Catholic faith in the present time.

The month of December is dedicated to the Divine Infancy, where we contemplate the mystery of the Word Made Flesh. Through the penitential season of Advent we prepare spiritually for the joyous feast of Christmas. The Church also observes the most solemn feast within Advent – the Immaculate Conception of Mary – on December 8. We can meditate on this great dogma and its profound connection to the birth of Christ throughout its octave.
